"HeritagForAll" initiative has the pleasure to inform you that we will organize a three months training course entitled "Intro. to Heritage Management and Marketing". It will be taking place in Cairo & Alexandria. For the first time ever, this training course will highlight defining the features of managing archaeological heritage sites as well as the world heritage sites through the discussions on these main themes: Heritage Management Process, Legislation of Heritage Conservation, Fundraising and Financing, and Heritage Marketing Concept.

Training course fees:
Registration fees: 100 EG pounds per lecture
For undergraduate students & groups (5 persons): 75 EG pounds per lecture and per person
Whole course: 1000 EG pounds
Whole course for undergraduate students: 750 EG pounds
Whole course for groups (5 persons): 900 EG pounds per person
N.B.: Group (5 persons) means that each one will pay an announced amount of money

Tutor is Mr. Mohamed Badry
He is a founder of “HeritageForAll” initiative. At the current time, he is a PhD candidate in Heritage and Museum Studies at Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, Helwan University. Holding an M.A. in Heritage Conservation and Site Management from Helwan Uni. (Egypt) & Brandenburg Uni. of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany); a Guidance Diploma from Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, Helwan Uni.; and a B.A. from the History Department – Cairo Uni., he has held numerous internships such as what had been done with UNESCO Cairo office, and UNESCO New Delhi-supported initiative GoUNESCO. He has an extensive background in heritage management and marketing, with a special attention to the role of tangible and intangible heritage which form the main spheres of my research interests.

By the end of the module, participants will be able to:

• Interpret the heritage management perspective
• Analyze the heritage site finding out the factors which conserve archaeological destination and in the same time, satisfy the visitors’ needs and wants
• How to present the heritage values including the tangible and intangible heritage
• Interpret the heritage marketing perspective.
• Prepare the main structure of heritage marketing plan.
• Use the up-to-date heritage marketing technique.
